ÉTICOS began with a journey and a simple question. While exploring his roots in Indonesia, our founder Rick picked up a deodorant at a local supermarket. He couldn’t read any of the Indonesian writing on the packaging, and somehow, that sense of unfamiliarity got him thinking. When he got back to his home country, he looked at his usual deodorant and realised he was just as clueless about its ingredients. What were all these chemicals he was putting on his skin?

Rick came to a realisation: many of the everyday body care essentials are packed with suspect additives and synthetics we don’t need — or even want. Frustrated by the lack of transparent  alternatives, he created ÉTICOS: a deodorant that combines nature’s finest ingredients with the latest scientific advancements.
